POVEL OLSSON
Povel Olsson, Swedish composer and music producer. Studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. His work includes film music, commercials, producing and writing music for artists and stage performances.
As a writer and music producer for commercials, some of his clients are IKEA, SAS, Life, Craft Sportswear, Betsson, Gina Tricot among others.
Performs primarily as a drummer in various projects and as a permanent member in the band The Royal Concept, who has toured several times in USA, China, Japan, Europe to name a few. He’s also been touring for many years with Sweden’s electro queen Robyn, and pop wonders Veronica Maggio and Molly Sandén. He’s also one part of the creative dream-pop duo Falcor.
In 2017 he produced and co-wrote five of the tracks on Veronica Maggio’s platinum-selling album ”Den första är alltid gratis”.
In 2018 he produced the Prāta Vētra album "Par to zēnu, kas sit skārda bungas". Also a platinum-selling album.
